"I want to you to be your light" - The one line that sumps up this song and the reason why I picked this song to teach at my second choreography workshop class.
The song talks about how darkness and hope all exists within us, how we need to see and accept our strengths, weakness, perfections and imperfections because only then do we reach our true self. When things are difficult, we owe it to ourselves to not make it even more difficult. We owe it to ourselves to not break ourselves further.
BTS has always spoken about the concept of "Love Yourself" and I was honored to spread this message through this class. The amount of love and positiveness that flowed in this class was truly astounding. Every one who came never paid attention to the mistakes they made - they did not care they were making one. It was truly beautiful watching them all exist by just being themselves.
Thank you for loving yourselves, even if it was just for a moment. I hope you will continue doing so.
